Xpatulator is used by organisations to calculate how much to pay an expatriate sent to another country so that they have a similar standard of living and purchasing power as they have in their home country. The same applies to individuals when considering a job offer in another country. How do you know if an offer of £60 000 in London is more or less than what you earn now in terms of purchasing power, given the high cost of living in London. What is the equivalent amount of a salary of AUD$120 000 in Sydney in another country? What is the equivalent amount of a salary of R500 000 in Johannesburg in another country? Although the salary is not usually the major reason for moving countries, you do not want to find yourself in a situation where you realise after moving that you sold yourself short, ran out of savings and covering the budget you are used to is a struggle.
Xpatulator.com generates customised reports online, based on your input.
